Most stones are colorless, graded from D to H, and many others are fancy colors such as vivid yellow, blue and pink. Each listing shows its clarity grade, for example VVS1, VVS2, VS1, VS2 or SI1, so you can see exactly what you are choosing. Moissanite rates about 9.25 on the Mohs scale and has strong, colorful fire, so it suits rings worn every day.

How to Choose a Loose Moissanite
