This collection is made up of loose emerald cut lab grown diamonds, each listed with its carat weight, color and clarity. It includes colorless and near-colorless stones from D to I color and a wide choice of fancy colors, including green, blue, pink, yellow and orange. Some listings are marked as IGI certified. One finished emerald cut statement ring is also in the collection.
An emerald cut is a rectangle with clipped corners and long, parallel step facets. Rather than scattered sparkle, it shows broad flashes of light, often called a hall-of-mirrors effect. Lab grown diamonds have the same chemical and optical properties as mined diamonds, so the look is the same.
The open, flat facets show inclusions more easily than a brilliant cut, so clarity matters more here: VVS and VS stones look the cleanest. Check that the steps are even and the outline is straight. For colorless stones, D to F look icy in white gold, while G to I look warmer in yellow or rose gold. Emerald cuts look great as a lab diamond solitaire ring or as the center of a three stone ring.
