Lab Diamond Pear

This collection holds loose pear cut lab grown diamonds: single teardrop shaped stones sold on their own, not set in jewelry. The range runs from small stones of about a third of a carat to large center stones of five carats, in colorless grades and a wide choice of fancy colors.

Colors and clarity

Colorless stones are mostly D, E or F color, with clarity from VVS1 to SI1. Fancy color stones come in vivid and intense pink, blue, green, yellow and orange, plus softer brown and greenish blue tones. Each listing names the carat weight, color and clarity of that stone in its title, and some also name a grading report.

How to choose a pear cut stone

A pear combines a rounded end with a single point, so look for even, balanced shoulders and a point that lines up with the rounded end. Longer, slimmer pears look larger for their weight; fuller ones look softer. The point is the most delicate part, so pears are often set with a prong or V-tip guarding it.
